Who I am
I grew up in São Paulo City, in Pedreira, on the city’s far south side, in a home where art and critical thought were part of everyday life. My dad was a musician, and my mum taught art at a public primary school inspired by Paulo Freire’s philosophy. That mix shaped the way I see the world and sparked my creativity early on. By sixteen I had discovered design, and I’ve been walking its long, winding road ever since.
What I believe
I believe in design that listens to its cultural surroundings and grows from them. My practice is shaped by a Brazilian sensibility: intuitive, collective, and open to contradiction. As a Latin American designer, I seek to expand what is seen as “global” by revealing how our ways of thinking and making have always been part of it.

What I do
My practice moves between intuition and structure, where research meets emotion and design becomes a living system.
As a Designer
I create visual identities and narratives for global brands, partnering with studios to develop frameworks that adapt, evolve, and speak to culture. I’m drawn to work that challenges convention and turns ideas into design systems that are both strategic and sensorial.
As a Visual Researcher
My research explores the cultural and visual behaviours emerging from working-class Latin American contexts, where design often exists before it’s defined. I study how visual production carries memory, labour, and improvisation. This led me to Unilabor, a 1950s–60s Brazilian design co operative founded by Geraldo de Barros and Frei João Baptista Pereira dos Santos, a community that reimagined the relationship between design, labour, and social reform. In 2022, I published a book on its legacy and how it still echoes in today’s visual systems.
What I did
Over the past nine years, I’ve moved through different layers of the design world, from independent studios to global networks, connecting cultural depth with visual clarity.
As a Designer
I’ve worked with agencies and clients across Latin America and Europe including Formula 1®, UEFA®, EA Sports, Gatorade, 7UP, FutureBrand, Hardcuore, Droga5, and Area 23 developing visual identities and narratives that bridge strategy and emotion. My work flows between branding, motion, and digital design, guided by the belief that visual identity should be generative and responsive to culture.
As a Visual Researcher
I investigated the social and cultural dimensions of design in Latin America, focusing on the intersections between design, labour, and collective identity examining how visual production reflected the behaviours and aspirations of working-class communities.
